Too much. A former Aston Villa footballer has been killed by police. after he was Tasered 'four or five times' before he died while the police watchdog confirms it is examining the 'use of force' to determine if excessive force had been used.

48 year old former football player Dalian Atkinson had flown into 'drunken rage' which led him to and bang repeatedly on the door of his father's home in Telford, Shropshire.

According to neighbors, Police were called.

The officers arrived at around 1.30am and witnesses say the stun gun was used 'multiple times' on the striker.

Atkinson suffered a cardiac arrest and died at around 3am.

New revelations emerge. Tonight it was claimed that Atkinson had been battling kidney problems and had a weak heart.

His health history was not known to police. His nephew claimed officers would not have used the stun gun if they had known the ex-striker's medical history.
